No — we never claim a specific fire rating, flame resistance or certification for a product without documentation behind that claim. "Commercial grade" here describes the base, trunk and foliage build quality for high-traffic use, not a code compliance statement. If fire documentation is a requirement for your project, ask us what exists for a given product and confirm the standard your local authority having jurisdiction requires.

How do these hold up to being bumped or repositioned often in a busy lobby?

Accepted Answer

Better than a residential piece, generally, because the larger commercial-scale trees here use reinforced or fiberglass trunks and weighted or anti-tip bases built for that kind of handling. That said, no artificial tree is built to be dragged across a floor repeatedly — lift rather than drag when repositioning, and check the base periodically if the piece sits somewhere it gets bumped often.

Can any of these go on a covered restaurant patio or hotel entrance?
