A large artificial acacia at 11.5 ft, this fibreglass-trunked faux acacia is built for exposed commercial positions: hotel forecourts, resorts, airports, theme parks, gardens and landscape schemes. UV resistant materials are the whole point of it. It stands 3.5 m as a floor-standing focal tree.

Can this go outside?

Yes, and unlike most artificial trees this one is specified for it. Fibreglass does not rot or corrode, and the foliage is UV resistant rather than merely indoor-rated. Sunny courtyards and entrance forecourts are the intended use. Fix the base properly, though - 3.5 m of tree with a spreading crown will move in wind.

Will the colour fade in sunlight?

Much more slowly than a standard indoor tree, because the foliage is UV resistant. That is a real difference rather than a marketing line: unprotected artificial foliage in full summer sun goes visibly pale within a season or two. UV resistance buys years, not permanence, and a fully exposed south face will still age faster than a sheltered one.

How tall is it, really?

11.5 ft, or 3.5 m, in one size. Outdoors that is roughly single-storey height, which is the scale at which a tree starts to shape a space rather than decorate it. Indoors it needs an atrium or a double-height lobby to sit in properly.
