Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about Eververda, our catalogue, pricing and shipping.

What currency are Eververda's prices in?

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) on eververda.com and in US dollars (USD) on eververda.com/us.

Does "artificial tree" mean a Christmas tree here?

Mostly no. Our core catalogue is decorative trees for year-round use — olive, fiddle leaf fig, palm, bonsai, cherry blossom and similar — for homes and commercial spaces. We do carry a separate range of large-format commercial Christmas installations for hotels, retail and events; those live in the commercial catalogue and are quoted rather than bought at checkout.

Why do some products say "request a quote" instead of "add to cart"?

Three kinds of piece are quoted rather than sold at checkout. Architectural and commercial-scale pieces, where freight, crating and site access have to be planned per order. Anything priced at $3,000 CAD and above, for the same reason. The threshold is set in Canadian dollars, including on the US storefront. And, for delivery in Canada, pieces that ship from our US warehouse: most of our residential range currently ships from there, so Canadian orders for those are quoted with delivery included rather than sold at a fixed shipping rate. In the United States, residential pieces are bought at checkout with free tracked delivery.

Who buys from Eververda?

Two groups. Homeowners buying decorative trees and plants for their homes, and commercial buyers, such as hotels, restaurants, offices, retail and event companies, specifying larger installations from our commercial catalogue. The site keeps the two ranges separate so residential shoppers are not wading through architectural-scale pieces.

How do I know what a product is actually made of?

Every product page carries a specification table listing what the supplier documented — materials, dimensions, leaf counts where published, UV treatment where claimed. Where a specification wasn't documented, the table says "Not specified" rather than guessing. We'd rather tell you what we don't know than invent it.

What if something arrives damaged or isn't right?

Damaged, defective or incorrect items are refunded in full, with no restocking fee, when reported within the policy timelines. Shipping damage must be reported with photographs within 48 hours, and manufacturing defects within 30 days. Change-of-mind returns need authorisation first and carry a 15% restocking fee.
