Can this go outside?

Yes, this one is sold for outdoor use. What we will not tell you is that it is indestructible: we publish no UV or wind rating for it, so a position with some shelter from prevailing wind and the harshest sun will keep it looking right for far longer than a fully exposed one.

Does it need any maintenance?

Outdoors, rinse the blossom occasionally rather than dusting it - rain deals with most of it, but a light hose removes the film that builds up near roads and patios. Indoors, dusting every few months is enough.

How does it arrive, and how much shaping does it need?

It ships with the branches drawn in. Allow twenty minutes on site to open them out, angle each branch away from the trunk and spread the blossom sprays into depth. This is the single biggest factor in whether the finished tree looks real or looks flat.
