Canopy shape, not height. Models 1 and 2 are offered at both 3.9 ft (120 cm) and roughly 5.4 ft (162 to 166 cm); Models 3 and 4 are listed at the taller size only. Each model has a different branch spread and leaf density, so if you are buying several for one room, mixing models reads more naturally than repeating one.
Will it look real up close?
From across a room, yes. The leaves use a natural-touch finish and the branching is layered rather than radial, which is what usually gives a faux ficus away. At arm's length you will still be able to tell - we would rather say that than overpromise it as indistinguishable.
