How tall is it, really?
Six sizes: 9 ft (3 m), 11.6 ft (3.5 m), 13 ft (4 m), 15 ft (4.5 m), 16.5 ft (5 m) and 18 ft (5.5 m). A date palm carries its crown right at the top, so the trunk is dead space visually - measure to the underside of your ceiling and take the size below it, not level with it.
Can this go outside?
Yes, it is specified for outdoor landscape use as well as indoors. PU fronds shed water and hold their shape better in weather than fabric-only foliage. The honest caveat is wind: a date palm crown is broad and light, so the base needs weighting or fixing anywhere it is exposed.
Is it suitable for a commercial fit-out?
Yes - hotel lobbies, atriums and theme areas are where most of these go. It survives seasonal restyling because nothing about it depends on daylight or watering, so the same palm can move from a winter lobby to a summer pool terrace with no recovery period in between.
