How tall is it, really?

The listed size options are 9.0 ft (2.8 m), 10.5 ft (3.2 m) and 11.0 ft (3.4 m). The product title states 6.5 ft, which does not match any available option - we would rather point that out than let you order on the wrong number. Check with us before specifying to a ceiling height.

What do the head and pole options mean?

How many columns the cactus has and how many arms come off them. Three heads gives a classic saguaro silhouette; five arms on two poles fills much more width and works as a room divider. Head count changes the footprint far more than the height does.

Why PU rather than plastic?

Polyurethane is moulded from a master, so it picks up ribbing, areole detail and surface irregularity that a vacuum-formed plastic shell cannot. On a cactus that matters, because the surface is the entire plant - there is no foliage to distract the eye.
