Four sizes: 180 cm (5.9 ft), 220 cm (7.2 ft), 250 cm (8.2 ft) and 280 cm (9.8 ft). All four sit under a normal ceiling, and that is what separates this palm from the landscape-scale ones - it is built for rooms people live and work in, not for atriums.
How does it arrive, and how much shaping does it need?
Palm fronds arrive folded along the spine and need opening out leaflet by leaflet. It is the fiddliest part of setting up any palm, and skipping it is exactly why some artificial palms look flat and papery. Run a thumb down each side of the midrib to spread the leaflets and the whole tree changes.
Is it safe around children and pets?
There is no soil, no fertiliser and nothing to eat, which covers the usual concerns with a live plant in a family room. The honest caution is physical rather than chemical: the fronds are long and stiff and a palm at 280 cm is top-heavy, so place it where it cannot be pulled over and make sure the base is properly weighted.
