How tall is it, really?

You choose: 1 m, 1.2 m, 1.5 m, 1.8 m, 2 m, 2.2 m or 2.5 m. The figure quoted is the tree itself, so add the height of whatever you stand it in unless the container is sunk into a planter bed.

Can I get it in a custom height?

Not a bespoke height, no - but shape is selectable on every size, and two prepared packages are listed alongside the single trees. For a matched run in a lobby, hold the shape constant and vary the height instead.

Where does this work best?

Indoor landscaping is what it is built for: the deep corner of a lobby, a stairwell return, a covered patio. Pine reads as structural rather than decorative, so it holds a large empty volume better than a broadleaf tree of the same height.
