Will it look real up close?

Better than most. A rubber tree carries a few dozen large leaves rather than thousands of small ones, so each is moulded individually with a real midrib and curl, and there are too few of them for repetition to become obvious.

How tall is it, really?

1.4 m or 1.6 m, so 4.6 ft or 5.25 ft. Both sit below a standard ceiling with room over them, making this one of the few large-leaf trees that works in an ordinary living room rather than needing a double-height space.

Where does this work best?

Beside a sofa, within a lobby seating group, at the turn of a staircase. Rubber foliage is dense and dark, so it works against a pale wall and vanishes against a dark one - place it where there is contrast behind it.
