Event Backdrop Artificial Grass Wall Panel 50 x 50 cm

Sold as a 1.6 x 1.6 ft (0.50 x 0.50 m) tile, this artificial grass wall panel is the event-build version of a green wall - light enough to hang on a temporary frame, cheap enough per square metre to cover a large backdrop, and quick to strike afterwards.

How does it arrive, and how much shaping does it need?

Flat-packed as individual tiles. There is no shaping as such: you clip them together, fix the assembled sheet to your frame, and fluff the foliage at the joins so the seams disappear. A two-person crew can dress a 3 x 3 m backdrop in well under an hour.

How many panels do I need per square metre?

Four. A standard 2.4 m x 2.4 m step-and-repeat backdrop is 5.76 square metres and takes 24 panels with a little trimming.

Is it suitable for a commercial fit-out?

For a permanent fit-out, yes, with the caveat that a 50 cm tile has four times as many seams per square metre as a 1 m panel. If the wall will be viewed at close range under even light every day, the larger-format panels are the better specification. For activations and repeat-use backdrops, the small tile wins on handling.
