What is the trunk made of?
Fiberglass, moulded and finished to a bark texture. It is rigid enough to hold cascading branches out from the centre without droop, which a lighter armature cannot do once the weight of blossom is hanging off the ends.
Will it look real up close?
From a few metres it is convincing, particularly the white. Up at the branch joints you can see where the cascades attach to the frame, so plan the viewing angles - weeping trees are meant to be seen from underneath and outward, not inspected at the crown.
Can this go outside?
Indoor and covered outdoor positions are what it is specified for. A porch, a marquee or a colonnade is fine; a fully exposed courtyard is not, because hanging blossom cascades are the first thing wind will tangle.
