How tall is it, really?

15 ft, which is 4.5 m. That is the single size offered and it is genuinely large - taller than most domestic rooms allow. Treat it as a commercial or event purchase, and confirm the ceiling height and the door width it has to pass through before you order.

Can this go outside?

Yes, it is listed for outdoor use, and a courtyard is where a jacaranda at this scale makes most sense. Anchor the base properly outdoors: a tree this tall with a wide flowering crown behaves like a sail in a gust. Silk blooms also last longer under an overhang than in driving rain.

Will it look real up close?

At a few metres, yes. Jacaranda flowers in dense purple panicles, and silk reproduces that mass of small blooms far better than moulded plastic does. Stand directly beneath it and you will see wire in the branch tips - though in practice a 15 ft tree gets looked at, not inspected.
